How to import Demo Content made by Sublime Themes? ( Includes Elementor Based Themes )

You have definitely checked out and liked the demos of SublimeThemes. Now, are you wondering how to clone the demos into your website for free?

If yes, then here is an official tutorial on how to import the demo content in WordPress using the themes made with Sublime Themes. Hence, when you are in a hurry and want to make a clone of the website, you are in the right place.

To begin with, the popular plugin, One Click Demo Import plugin handles all our demo imports. Thus, without any coding knowledge, you, as a non-tech, can easily import demo content to your website.

We will break this tutorial into two different parts:

  1. Free Sublime Themes
  2. Pro Sublime Themes

Pro SublimeThemes

First of all, let us dive into how you can import the demos by installing One Click Demo import plugins with all those related to the demo.

I. First Step:

We are sure you have checked all the documentation for all our themes. If not, you can check it out here: https://sublimetheme.com/theme-documentation/.

Here you will know how to install the theme on your website. After this, you will be installing all the recommended plugins from the list of arrays of plugins. It looks something like this.

Again, this is covered in the documentation process.

After successfully installing all our plugins, it’s time to focus on the importer plugin.

II. Second Step:

Now the real fun begins; when you navigate towards the interface, you will get into the left side of the Dashboard. You will see Appearance > Import Demo Data.

After you click on Import Demo Data, you will be redirected to the main page of the One-Click demo import page, something like this.

For Pro Users, both Elementor based or non-elementor based, you will be redirected to the page where you can now install the recommended plugins. In case you have missed any recommended plugins from the process above.

Again, after this, you will Click the Continue and Import button, and then the process starts similar to that of the image below. Make some coffee as it may take some time, and after the process completes, you will see something similar to this.

Enjoy the site as of our demo.

For Free Users

If you have downloaded the free theme then you will just do everything like the Pro theme and install all the recommended plugins.

You have to download the three files from our site from the documentation file for free users.

Three files are:

  1. XML File: Overall Content includes posts, pages, media menus, and other settings.
  2. DAT File: Customizer Content.
  3. WIE File: Widget Content.

Once you have downloaded the files, you will again go to the left side of the Dashboard. You will see Appearance > Import Demo Data.

After that, you can just see a manual import option where you can just upload all three files respectively.

Yes, that’s it. Now, you can hit the Import option and wait for it to complete.

Demo Import Process Failed

If you have tried to install demo content and failed, there could be several possible reasons. Most of the time, your web host’s configuration prevents the demo import process. If you are on a shared host, then the chances are high that your host has put some limit.

For the demo import to work properly we recommend the following PHP configuration:

  • max_execution_time 360
  • memory_limit 256M
  • post_max_size 32M
  • upload_max_filesize 32M

If you are not tech-savvy and worried about how you can find this information, then you can directly contact your host and ask them to increase your configuration as recommended above.

If you have are still facing issues with the demo import. Our support team will handle it for you.
